EXTRUSION APPRENTICESHIP

The trade is new.
It is a 3 year Apprenticeship.
Each of the three Stages of training toward the trade qualification involves approximately 30 days at college. This is usually offered in one or two week blocks.
If the prospective apprentice already has some skills in the industry, the PARTEC Institute will assess these, so that time at college is reduced.
The Stages of training are linked to pay scales in the Rubber and Plastics Award (State).
The cost of the Apprenticeship is subsidised by the State Government.
The course of study is Nationally Recognised Training.
