PARTEC 'COMPOSITES TECHNICIAN' APPRENTICESHIP

• The trade of Composites Technician is new, approved by the State Government in February, 2000.
• It is a 3 year Apprenticeship.
• The trade qualification involves approximately 18 weeks at college. This is offered in one week every second month.
• If the prospective apprentice already has skills in the industry, the PARTEC Institute will assess these, so that time at college is reduced.
• A fast track program for mature -age apprentices is available.
• The cost of the Apprenticeship is subsidised by the State Government.
• The course of study is a Nationally Recognised Qualification
