PW1 - Butt Welding of P.E. Pipe
Who the Course
is for: The course is primarily aimed at people already employed in the
Plastic Pipe Industry, Irrigation industry, Local Authorities or Plastic
Welding Industry.
Course Objective:
At the conclusion of the course each student will have a good knowledge
of polyethylene pipe materials and standards, butt fusion equipment and
processes and will be able to carry out a butt weld of P.E. pipe to industry
standards.
EW1 - Electrofusion Welding of P.E. Pipe
Who is the Course for: The course is primarily aimed at people already
employed in the Plastic Pipe Industry, Irrigation industry, Local Authorities
or Plastic Welding Industry.
Course Objective:
At the conclusion of the course each student will have a good knowledge
of polyethylene pipe materials and standards, Electrofusion equipment
and processes and will be able to carry out an electrofusion weld of P.E.
pipe to industry standards.
FW1- PVC
pipe joining and installation course.
This
course is required by the Brisbane City Council for workers installing
PVC pressure pipes. Covers rubber ring and solvent joining and tapping
into mains supply.
